Nick,
The only bad thing I've heard about the 25" shaft is it's hard to get far
enough out of the water for a starboard tack.If you sail where you can
expect a lot of big waves,I would be inclined to go with the 25".I'd like to
hear from somebody who has a 25" shaft,and get their opinion.I think that in
docking ,the long shaft would keep the controls higher over the transom,for
tight quarters steering with the motor and tiller.
