Sir, you are correct, sailing is better than posting to the list.
Now as to your comments regarding the Freedom to Farm Act, do your
homework. That was passed in 1996. Who was President? The
Republicans were being herded by Newt Gingrich. Who is responsible?
Agriculture is the sacred cow of American politics, pun intended.
There are no non-guilty parties.
If you are going to quote raw numbers, please adjust for inflation.
I'm a product of the public school system but did pay attention on the
day they taught statistics.

There is no need to doubt.
