[Rhodes22-list] Launched!

[Herb Parsons]

In my case, it was a combination helping a friend (she really needed to sell the boat), and letting my wife see a little of Alaska (she's wanted to do that, but I'm not a "cold weather" person), and me getting a boat.

I've told others, don't do what I did. That's not how to buy a boat. I had virtually no experience, didn't know what type of boat I needed, didn't know what type of boat I was buying, didn't know what kind of shape it was in, and really didn't know what I was going to do with it once I got it (I had this crazy idea that I was going to keep in my driveway!).

I just got lucky :)
