This interloper is an owner of a 1972 Rhodes that sails out of Maine. I have been on the list for about six years. 
 
I also have been racing for a while on J24's, Mengles, and other big boats offshore.  
 
I don't get on too much for it takes a lot of time with all the other stuff that is dicussed. 
 
BTW, has anyone heard from Roger at all....

Scott is.  

     How long have you been following this list?  Are you aware of the

      Yes there are sailboat racing buffs on this list.  One who can speak
with authority is Captain Peter Thorn.  And there are others who know the
tricks, rules and details.

       Most of us have boats with the IMF which is not considered to be a
racing sail. There are Rhodes 22's with standard mast and racing main sails. 
There is that technical difference that you need to be aware of.  

        Again, welcome..., but remember that this list is not limited to
sailing and sailboats.
