Welcome, John.

Where do you hail from? You may want to check out www.frappr.com/rhodes22 to
add your location and check out locations of other Rhodes 22 sailors. We
are based out of the north shore of Long Island (NY), sailing the LI Sound.

Is the boat in the water or trailered?

How different is your Rhodes? Do you have any pix?

I've had lots of experience working on my boat over the years. I have
several fixes for the centerboard trunk that have solved many of the early
('81) problems. I am not familiar with the '70 vintage design. Ask for
help on this list - you may not get the solution to your problem right away
but you will certainly get a lot of help trying.
