Art,
One of my best sailing friends owns an O'Day 222. I liked the cabin layout
but I do like the R22 cockpit much better. The 222 seemed to sail a little
flatter than the R22. Not quite as tender, maybe due to extra weight of my 2
furlers. His 222 has hank on sails. Until last year I could sail past him on
any point of sail. He purchased brand new main last year and now I have to
work hard to stay ahead.
I haven't used anything other than solar shower so I can't comment on the
Coleman product.
