What is the collective wisdom and recommendation for a cheap used car?
Specifically a car that is small, fuel efficient, safe to use around town.
This would not be a primary vehicle, but a knock around car that you do not
have to worry about getting stolen or hit in a parking lot.

Suggestions appreciated.
