[Rhodes22-list] Bradenton R22 Championship Regatta

  It would be wonderful to get every body together for a couple of days. I'm pretty sure that the yatch club will be interested in hosting this event. 
   
  We have a wonderful marina with launching ramp, work area, and slips with easy access to the Sarasota bay and the Gulf of Mexico. It is a wonderful area to sail.
   
  I'm a director for the club and I attend the board meetings. If we have Rhodies interested in this event, I'll bring this to the attention of the board at the next meeting.
   
  Rummy, for your information, we are a drinking community with a sailing problem. Rum is a necessity aboard.

The Bradenton reunion/regatta sounds great. I too am part of the club here
in Bradenton and have been crew in many of the races, especially lately. Am
taking lessons these days from an experienced member of the club in hopes
of sailing my own R22 in those races someday.

I'll be happy to help organize anything that we can stir up here in
paradise. I am sure the club would be friendly about it all.

We really do have a great community and surely will welcome all Rhoadies
with rum and a smile.
