[Rhodes22-list] Zepyrus Is in the Water!

Todd,
I found the same thing with my gas tank. I left the tank on the boat and
left the screw closed. The next time I got on the boat you could smell the
gas. As the tank warmed up the gas expanded and flowed out the top of the
tank. Now I leave the screw open all the time. - rob

Thanks for the fatherly advice :) I thought I did have a full tank at the
end of the season. I added stabil and put the boat away. When I brought it
home, I noticed the smell of gas and saw that gas was dripping from the
connection to the motor segment of hose. The tank was pressurized (I opened
the screw and I could hear the sound of air escaping). I can only surmise
that the tank dripped gas all winter into the gravel floor of my friends
pole barn. Tomorrow, weather permitting, I will top off the tank and see
what happens.
