[Rhodes22-list] Gas Tanks, Vents, and Carburetors

Rummy,

If you believe that, I've got  a bridge I'd like to sell you.

There is no way you're going to pass enough water through the fuel ports 
of a carburetor into a running engine to cause that kind of damage. That 
water was either in there when the engine started, or was sucked in 
through the air horn after the engine was running. Any mechanic that 
tries to tell you it is possible to suck enough water through the fuel 
system to do that is ..... well, it just ain't gonna happen.
