Kevin:

Reread Michaels reply to your question.

After you discribed your location, I figure you are about two hours
from Edenton. Call Stan at the plant (wait until after 10 AM) and describe
what you need. Take the good one in a plastic bag on which you have written
what it is and go to Edenton and get a new one. Stan will give it to you.
When you call ask if anybody has reserved the room at the Spitzer Hilton.
If it is available, go after work on Friday to get the part, stay over and
head back Saturday morning and put both parts on, level the spreaders, hoist
the mast and go for a sail!!! Keep in mind that tomorrow never comes.

You have also let a cat out of the bag. There is a lady occassionally
on this list who signs her post as L. Sailor. Her secret code name. She
says here name is Elle. Tell her that she needs to bring the Rum on her
test sail. You can supply the cokes.

If you need an experienced Rhodie for instruction there is a coast
guard volunteer in Maryland that Elle knows of who would be happly to give
directions for a chance to be on the water... He is as old as and
experienced as Stan. He is very experienced in rigging a Rhodes 22, just
too old to shimmy up the mast. He will leave that to you.
