[Rhodes22-list] Engines: 4 stroke vs 2 stroke.

Michael,

Well, yes, I did have a 2-stroke car.  3 cylinders.

And I change the oil in cars very infrequently.

Yet I keep cars for upwards of 10 years, and they run well for the 
entire time.

My 2-stroke outboard is 15 years old, and judging from the stories told 
on this list, it runs better than most new 4-strokes.  The dealer who 
looked at it told me that if I continue to maintain it as I have, he was 
sure I'd get another 15 good years out of it.
