[Rhodes22-list] Phil Jacksonville and Rory where...

We lived on base when I was a kid back in the 60s. My Dad was XO of the USS 
Power.

Last summer we cruised up the coast (not in a R22) leaving from Cocoa. We 
ducked into Jacksonville after 2 nights out on the Gulf Stream. We came in 
due to strong NE winds. It was a wild ride coming between the jetties. The 
NE wind was blowing about 20 and had delayed the tide. There were rolling 
partially breaking waves trying to drive us into the south jetty.

We really enjoyed the ICW just North of Amelia up to Cumberland and Jekyll. 
This area would be great for our Rhodes.

Do you normally sail on the river on due you take your R22 out side?
