[Rhodes22-list] South Florida Sailing

Chris: We had actually hoped to get further on this past cruise; however,
the weather had other ideas. We had hoped to leave a couple of weeks before
we did but the seas were up over six feet owing to a cold front up north
that sent us northwest winds.

We made a Florida Bay (Cape Sable) to Marathon and on down to Key West two
years ago and had hoped to do something similar this year but again, the
weather did not cooperate. Perhaps in the fall or next spring if weather
permits and the hurricane season is good to us.

We basically lost last year because of Frances and Jeanne.

But life is good.
