[Rhodes22-list] e-Bay, What's Up Folks? Sneak on the list, that
is what...

Ed,
While we have not met personally, I have gotton a good feel for your style, and frankly what has had a touch of senility now appears to be neurotic. You do not have the sense or right to question my integrity in the purchase of the IMF in Mississippi, which is rarely available without a boat attached. I will probably sell the hull after I mend the spongy foredeck. Mind your manners, ninny. You destroy your own credibility in too many ways!
My personal and private conversations, bid, and purchase have nothing to do with any other list member, and certainly not with Stan, except that it is a further reflection of my respect for this magnificent boat and his efforts over the years. How silly that I would be secretive in my bid by using my own name as my EBay ID. My visit to Edenton was to cement a sense of mutual confidence in the boom room design and joint commitment to that project. The rest of your dialogue does not deserve the respect of a reply. I will await your sincere apology.
I am hoping that Rob can swing the deal with the only other R22 I have seen for sale. I have expressed this more than once on the list, as well as on the phone with one of our list members.
Stan, I hope you are not trembling with fear at the prospect of an undisclosed hostile takeover, except I have heard rumors that Slim likes the Rhodes alot. Also be careful to watch Luis, because with 2 Rhodes in Florida he could be a real threat. As for me, I get alot of pleasure being a small part of this list, and supplying a boom room that others will enjoy. And I get a pleasure from exchanging sailing ideas with other owners. I get absolutely no pleasure in writing this email to the list.

>Hum? And he has been on the list discussing other eBay boats. Hum? Is this
