This is a panoply of replies to comments posted about elections.
Why is everyone blaming GB? General Boats has been quite with Stan in
Florida. You would have thought though that he would have given us a sunny
report.
The comment was made that “the electorate has spoken.” Well they did not
speak with one voice. Yes, many changes were made, but were they will
actually go is to be seen. Will some of the new Democratic Senators be of
the caliber of Joe Lieberman?
It was said that the President blamed Rumsfeld. I did not hear a lot of
blame but a change in the lineup. Time to try a different quarterback.
Pelosi came across very well. She may be the Democratic candidate for
President in 2008 is she does well. It should be noted that all her talk of
ethics and cleaning up left unsaid her record on corruption. But maybe she
got burned young enough to correct her ways.
And for all those criticizing elected official, how many have held elective
office, or worked for those running for public office. There is an
obligation to contribute rather than flap your lips (or in this case
fingers).

the universe together….” Carl Zwanzig.
