Personally, if the Congress passes nothing, we remain freer. We are
always safer when they are not in session regardless of party.

I hope you're right--that it'll be a race to the middle. If any of them
want to be elected/reelected they're going to have to show us SOMETHING.
As always though, I'm cynical and predict congressional gridlock. But hey,
gridlock will be better than the run-away train it's been.
