Rob,

It looked very weathered and worn. Lots of cracking gelcoat. Maybe it was just cosmetic, but I didn't like it. The hull paint was flaking off in some areas. Other stuff. I'd rather not make negative comments about someone else's boat. Suffice it to say that it did not meet my definition of "excellent contition".

Just curious.  Any reason that you didn't buy Steve's boat?  What are you
looking for?

I looked at Steve's boat on Sunday and decided not to buy it so I'm still in
the market for a used Rhodes 22.
I drove 12 hours each way and had to get a hotel. That was too far and too
expensive. I think I'll be limiting my boat shopping excursions to about 6
hours one way from the Raleigh, NC area. If any one knows of any good boats
available, please let me know. Thanks.
