Sounds like moisture got in if it's more foggy than cloudy
... but since I can't see it I don't have the slightest
idea what I'm talking about :-)

It would be hard for GLASS or Lexan to get discolored, I'd
expect discoloration from plastic.  Next step is to use
multimeter and start checking voltage and current.
