Yea..that's basic nav stuff......

But consider the picture in your mind when they say,
"there is a system coming in from the west and south"
rather than "a system coming in from the SW" : I
picture a pie-shaped slice of the area in between the
west and south totally devoid of any activity.After
all, if one takes what they say literally, they are
leaving out a large swath of territory.

I think it is just an affectation...

Sure is a s--l--o--w-- Friday..
