No argument from me. But I think you are missing my point a little bit.. This
PARTICLAR boat is a bit unique.. It can not be inspected, it is a throw
away, 
and for some reason , it was not paid for. The inspection process is a bunch
of pictures on the internet.. No one to talk to or get even the most
rudamentary history. Even for a project boat there may be surprises. Of
course at the price all that is at risk is not much money and some time  and
expense in hauling. Having bought and sold a lot of used equipment and
machinery one learns that without inspection, that "great deal" can actually
be scrap. Since this price is a scrap price (probably the value of
salvagable parts) then the proper buyer should by all means have at it.. But
be prepared for the possibility of it turning out to be "you get what you
pay for" .  A $1,000 boat that can be inspected may be a far better  deal
than one that is $500
PS to Ed-- I knew it was a project boat.. and that used boats are available
ready to sail.
