Rummy,

you made us all pause and look back:

My father went to Cooper Union, the place the presidents go to make their 
important speeches.   It was free so you had to be absolutely brilliant to 
get in but that wonderful mind was lost to Alzheimer's in his sixties.  My 
mother was no mental giant but a very funny lady, and beautiful.  She was 
pretty right up to a few months shy of her 100th.

You can see which one I take after.
