timing than whether the administration has the right to
fire them. The concern was that these specific DAs were
either too agressive in cases the administration wanted to
go away, or they weren't going after cases the
administration wanted them to do. These "cases /
investigations" would have (or have not) helped the
administration. So that is where some people are shouting
"politics" was used to pressure THE AG to have these people
fired.
The real problem is fueled by all the "little lies" and
"forgotten meetings" coming out in the congress
investigation.
You cn see how firing someone for doing a good job on an
investigation you don't want to see happen could be a
little embarassing, so then come the little lies to cover
it. Now they look worse than if they just fired them.
