You say tomato, I say tomato.

I understand the point of reference for pulling was the bow, but then it
should be called raising towards the bow and not from the bow.   Besides,
John (?) actually raised the mast from the hilltop.  Next, someone will
run the line in the window and raise the mast "from" his Barcolounger.
:^D

In all past posts, we have usually referred to raising the mast from the
transom-mounted GB carrier as raising from the stern.  Jeez....where is
Roger when you need a definitive answer?
