I meet Loopers all the time at Green Turtle Bay.
They are particularly thrilled to get here because there is no good marina
since Chicago. Sailboats have nowhere to go after Chicago, before Ky Lake.
Yes, I agree with Brad, I would do it in a trawler.
A fellow from Washington state was here last year in an Albin Trawler.
Now this had only two steps in it. I liked that boat dearly.
You have to bear in mind that many trawlers have three floors and that is
hard
on the knees!
Several of my pals have done the loop in a sailboat but that seems pretty
troublesome
with the mast up and down.
