pulpits can leak - in case of new style back off on the single nut - raise 
the rail slightly off deck - squeeze in a white or clear silicone based 
sealant - DO NOT RE-TIGHTEN NUT UNTIL SEALANT HAS GELLED AFTER A DAY AND 
FORMED A GASKET.

then you can call me in the morning (after it rains)
