Dave,
You lost me there. Maybe I'm using the beta version of google. Whitlock
was born in 1967 so I'd say he missed the early part of the Civil Rights
movement. I did read through some of his columns and interviews and he
seems pretty consistent with his message. This is one of my favorites: " I
asked a Jewish friend what Jews would do if a group of Jewish kids started
making music that relied on Jewish slurs and bragged about Jews killing Jews
and called Jewish women bitches and hoes. Let's just say the situation would
be handled and there wouldn't be a follow up album." I like the guy. The
only organization I could find he was a member of is he's a spokesperson for
Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Those are both excellent, well run charities
and one of the few I donate to. Seems like a stand-up kind of guy to me.
