Bob,

You'll do better with Stan if you email him directly, off list, on these 
kinds of questions.

He doesn't have the time to read every email on this list all the way 
through.  (Who does?)

And change the subject line to reflect the topic.  Don't sneak in 
questions and hope he'll find them.
