One thing I like to make sure of is that the centerboard is fully up AND
cleated, before backing down the launch ramp. The CB only Pivots when
hitting an obstruction going forward.
OK,two things.Make sure your rudder is held to the boat by something more
than gravity. If not held by some mechanical device (I use a set screw
collar on the bottom of the pintel),at least tie a line from the rudder to
the stern rail.
