Dave,
two other options are ...
- There are some small Maxima speakers and enclosures that fit inside the
coaming storage areas.
That's what I have and they sound ok. Search site:rhodes22.org Maxima
you should find
the link I posted listing an ad for them. They stay dry and are out
of the way.
- Also, you could mount some mondo speakers up under the seats inside the
coamings facing down.
(The coamings are the big hollow empty things your rest your back on
while your are sitting in
the cockpit. Crawl under the cockpit seat and look up, you will see
lots of great useable space.)
In either case, the wires are easy to run back to the cabin. I keep my
stereo behind the sliding mirror.
