Gary,

Bullshit!  You don't need to SEE the motor, you need to hear it run after
you mount it on your boat.  I'm willing to bet the $1000 purchase price that
Bruce is shooting you straight.  Freight isn't that big a deal.  If a Rhodie
screws a fellow Rhodie on a purchase they will never live it down!  Have
some faith man!  Hell, I bought an airplane sight-unseen on eBay and made a
good friend with the seller out of the deal.  The offer that Bruce made
sounds good to me.  If I needed a motor I'd jump on the situation.
