[Rhodes22-list] Bonds and drugs

Slim,

Funny you mention Bonds, I just had a conversation with my youngest son
about that subject last night. Alex is a baseball fanatic (I like going to
the ballpark but could care less) and thinks there should definitely be an
asterisk. Bonds didn't set the records "fair and square" and the record
books should explain that issue.

The ex-husband of our employee that I traveled to the Gulf to help also
works for us part time. He showed in court yesterday to show support and he
and I discussed the drug issue until the wee hours. I've witnessed a lot of
good people waste their lives with drugs, but I've seen more good people
wasted by the legal system on a witch hunt. I say we declare victory and
move on!

I wasn't a big Nancy Reagan fan (loved Ronny) but I'd say she had a pretty
good plan, "just say no!" I think rap music and the culture it glorifies is
just as harmful as drugs but I don't advocate censorship. I just "say no!"

Seems to work for a lot of things.
