No problems so far and it works fairly well. I just take up on the
topping lift, back the boom away from the gooseneck to disengage the
socket, and roll up as much as I need. Then re-engage the socket,
release the topping lift, and sail on.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the outhaul is no longer
useful once you furl the main. It should be tight before you start rolling.
