Rob:   Thank you, it was the square foot piece I lifted.   I will sponge and 
wait to see if it refills.   I leave the boat on a lift so it is possible that 
there may be a leak around the top of the swing-keel that leaks only when 
sailing.   I will leave the floor open to check.    I also may follow your 
suggestion regarding the WalMart pump.   The pump in the back compartment has a 
separate float; I think I will replace it with a pump with a built-in float if 
that sound ok.   Much appreciation.
