Just so we are on the same page here, 

1)this has passed the point of good funny, enough
2)Elle was "called" on this, SO you can be to, get a name, "just bent" is
adoring to look at. 
3)You know the list might not particular need you, One of the problems the
list has had over the decades, is people think sailing is cool, it funny to
do and they can do it alone, the rhodes22 is a lost cost boat so we are the
"entry way" and that is great for them because no one else can stand them in
real life, wants to bearound or they are a nut case. One of the first
tipoff's has always be a "lack of a name".
4)Remember you are my ship here mate, not a "god given right"
5)this is only a warning so far.

You are correct: the name is elle. Why he decided to use L. is for him to
say. It is rude to address someone is a deprecating manner, but, who knows,
that may be his comfort zone. Cest la vie!
