Well, 'bent, I had vowed I would not respond to you but I have no choice.
Michael was incorrect when he used 'mench.'
I think 'schlemeil ' is more like it.
I don''t know how long & hard you had to look for that quote but you have certainly demonstrated your command of the archives. You certainly know how to take things out of context.
However, and I will tell you this although it will have no effect on you and I don't really care if it does or not, but I stand by anything I have written; that was written not long after having watched my beloved, a kind man who wanted nothing more than to see his students and family happy, die slowly for three years from a devastating disease. I was trying to come back to life and the kind folks on this list gave me latitude to do so.
Gee thanks for bringing it all back...and so close to the anniversary of his death.
schlemeil.

what is a mench?
do I have to write out "Just bent" or can I use Jb for short?
What set you off was not what I wrote. I got it from the archives to show an
example of how rude elle was when she first signed on the list.
The post is "New Member" on March 2006, look it up.

Excuse me, but I don't understand the attitude.
I would like to place an order for a Rhodes tomorrow
if it were possible...however, I have other financial
responsibilities which will take me about two years to
deal with.
I am an experienced sailor who
1) doesn't particularly need this site to get the
information I need, and
2)will give my name when I am good and ready, if ever.
Lose the sarcasm, folks.
BTW...if you'd like to know what I understand, why not
ask?
