Rummy, Bob,
Have you found any of the biodegradables from West/Boaters World effective?  If so dilute in a bucket, and use a washdown pump (West 3.4 works well for me), scrubbing from the bucket and rinsing.  I can't use shoreside water at my marina, especially sensitive with the dry summer this year.
