[Rhodes22-list] Tongue Weight

Bill,
Somewhere between enough to keep the boat from fishtailing when trailering
(too light) and from overloading the rear of the towing vehicle (too much).
Seriously, I know this has been discussed and don't recall the numbers. I
know it on my vehicle when I see it. Anyone recall that discussion (yes, I
know you can search the archives, but I did and didn't find it). During
that discussion, I bookmarked this web site. I believe there a couple of
people who use this scale. But it's more than you want to know about
towing. But based on my single axle trailer and a 3500 pound boat (+/-),
about 350-400 pounds??

Rob, can you please tell me what the normal tongue weight is when pulling
a Rhodes 22.
Thanks Bill D .

Peter,
I hope those guys did make it back safely. Looks like there is not much
tongue weight if any on the ball. The boat looks like it perched right at
the center of gravity. - rob
