[Rhodes22-list] River of Ice

Rhodies:

I was running Timi around the yard late this afternoon
after work trying to burn energy off her & a few
calories off me. ;^)

We ran to the river side of the yard (she was chasing
me at this point!) & highlighted by the setting sun I
saw 'rivers' of ice made by the freeze/thaw cycles on
the creek. These 'rivers' form from the currents
carrying the "warmer" water brought up from the
creek's bottom by the bubblers we have on the dock.

As the sun was on its downward swing, I thought there
might be a picture to be had. The amusing part of this
shot was that I was on the hill above the creek as the
light was not as good down on the bulkhead..I was
slo-o-owly sliding down the slope...only the front leg
of the tripod kept me on the hill!
