[Rhodes22-list] Rope luff pad question

Hello Doug.
Gee, it's been a while since we've heard from you, sir. The luff pad on my
175 is neither foam nor rope--it's sail cloth doubled over a few times--but
I don't think it should matter. It only serves to add bulk in some way to
take more of the belly out of the sail when you roll it up. I'd guess the
rope would do that but I've never used on so that's just my opinion. But
for piece of mind I'd call them and get them to explain why they didn't give
you what you asked for.
