[Rhodes22-list] Harken Lazy Jack

howdy!

we have no reef points on the Sonar23 we race, and I don't
believe the CLUB J22 boats have them either ... The one Cal
22 does have them, but it is part of the club cuising
fleet, not the race fleet.  Access Dingies however do have
some "special" adjustments.

Now I beleive this is more a matter of $$$$ for the club,
and if we wanted we could BUY sails with reef points, there
is enough harware on the boats to support it.  But is is
MUCH cheeper to make a rule that we don't race if we'd need
to reef 20 Knts or less is plenty for the club fun races.

I imagine you could get a sail with reefs or have your
local sail loft put them in for your Rhodes, but I'm only
guessing.   It may be good if you dont' have them ... it
shold keep you on the dock if the weather is iffy?
