Ed, I've been with USAA since the late 60's when I was a US Army
Artillery officer. About a decade ago they expanded eligibility from
officers and their families to enlisted personnel also. It has always
been a great company with some of the cheapest rates anywhere. Most
insurance companies have sent their officers and employees to USAA's
home office in Texas to observe them as a "best practices" company. A
reputation they deserve. Dan
