Tide was very insignificant from the standpoint of rise and fall. I
think it was only about 1.5 to 2.5 feet. However, there were some spots
where tidal currents were a factor, but nothing like what folks in the
higher latitudes experience.
There was one incident where a combination of wind and current almost
ground us, but that comes later in the story....

Bill,
I don't recall any mention of the tide ... did you notice much of a
rise or fall in the tide?
Did the tide create any problems for you in the shallow areas?
Thanks,
Bud
