surely you meant "true republican".  Nixon, the author of that statement, as 
I recall was a member of that party.

I am the founder of the EC party and I gladly accept your nomination - but 
if the electorate wants youth instead of wisdom, McCain and I are out.  Me 
more so than McCain because I am smarter than McCain by eleven years.

Unlike Nixon, I will reveal my secret plan before I die - next week.
