I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier about this, I've been running  around.  I 
don't know what you've decided to do re raising your mast, or  when you intend 
to do it, but fwiw I can lend you a GenBoats winch and  crutch - and even 
better, the directions for their use (just found the  directions).  As I recall, 
you're in Montgomery Village, Md.  I'm a  little south of Tysons Corner.  If 
you get down to the Northern Virginia  area you could borrow the gear.  I'm 
tied up this weekend, but next  week,weekend, or whenever would probably be fine 
if you'd like to set  something up.  Let me know.
