An accessible substantial knife with a serrated blade is an excellent  
thought, I'm going to do it.  There are anchoring situations,  crab/lobster pots,  
netting or lines could get in your prop, you might have  to free a sheet in an 
emergency - it just seems prudent.   Thanks.
