[Rhodes22-list] another great reason...

In 2004  I bought a 1981 Rhodes22 that was visibly, and not so 
visibly abused and almost given up for trash.  I knew I wanted a 
Rhodes and although Stan advised me NOT to buy this particular boat, 
I went ahead and bought it.  His advise was good, but he didn't know 
my perseverance.

A few months later, Stan sent me two teflon inserts, with out my 
request, for the pop top support bar which I finally got to use 
yesterday.  I asked my wife, how many manufacturer's care that much 
about people who buy their product to help support them with a long 
term project that will yield meager funds down the road in hardware? 
Not many.

My boat is nearly finished and I hope to take some pics next week 
when almost all of my hardware is back on board.   I hope to raise 
the mast sometime in August, 3years and almost 10 grand later, spend 
in $100's and less at many vendors including GBI.
