Hi Chris,
Glad to hear from you. You may remember that we had a few brief exchanges
about a year ago. Your older Baja Veteran Rhodes (83) looks good to me, so
much so that when I learned that it is splashed across the cover of Jerry
Cardwell's book "sailing Big On A Small Sailboat" I bought one, even though
I had read the book already.
It would be fun to come to Medford and sail with you, learn from you, and
hear some more of your sailing exploits, and later August works for me.
We lived in Eugene, OR for six years, and my first son still lives
there, and I have been to Medford a few times; It would be good to visit
again.
Have a great time in Greece, and fair winds.

Hey Caesar,
I'm located one state away in SW Oregon. If you want a demo
ride on an older Baja veteran Rhodes ('83) give me a call. Of course Stan's
New Rhodes are magnificent and the Recycled Rhodes are a great value. I
will be out of the country (Greece, Italy and Croatia, sailing, what else)
for the first 6 weeks of the summer but should be back in town after the 4th
of August and perhaps we can do some lake sailing.

Sorry Ed. I missed a question.
I plan to be doing a lot of my sailing on the Snake River that borders
Washington and Idaho at the South Eastern corner of Washington. That
location is 35 minutes from my home, and it involves a drop of 1500 hundred
ft in elevation, so I have a hill with a 7 degree incline to climb on my way
home. There are many other location on the Snake and Columbia River to
launch and sail that are increasingly further away. In addition, Lake Coeur
d' Alene is two hours away, Lake Pend Oreille is 21/2 hrs away. Ocean
sailing is five hours away in the Pacific Ocean, Puget Sound.
Bye,
Caesar
