Actually, All,  - among those of us still familiar with the phenomenon -
being "the middle one" is quite a compliment....

Check your charts, though....Navigable Western New York is the
Rochester-Buffalo area on Lake Ontario, 100+ miles from here;
The Thousand Islands are the Canadian border, 150+ miles north.

Having heard all the Finger jokes already,  we find this area is
"Finger-Laken' Good ! "
