Captain Rummy said, "Dump your Norton Internet Security and try AVG Free.
It's  free and much less 

invasive than Norton."  

 

I have thought about that, however, in this case it may be telling us
something.  

 

My Norton Security is part of their 'Works' package which includes several
programs that I use a lot to clean and organize.  I have not seen another
cleaning and optimization package do the same job.  I concede that it slows
down my machine very much.  However, with the need for university access, it
has definitely caught several infected transmissions.  And the University
denies that such could have come from them.
